Haven't exactly blogged in a while - nothing to procrastinate I guess - but now I'm waiting till we must be leaving for the airport so I figured it's a good time to put in a word or two about how I'm feeling.
I'm all packed an ready to go but am probably still forgetting something... As long as it's not important than I am not too concerned at this point.
I strongly dislike having to say goodbye to people and am having a bit of a rough time with it - but it happens I guess. I just keep reminding myself of all the excitement and new experiences I am embarking on and how it will be nothing less than amazing for me... and that I will be home for christmas in 97 days. ;)
I'm very excited for just about everything that is about to come my way. The city, the accents, the driving on the wrong side of the road, the people, the classes, travelling, and yes - even the haggis. It makes it easier knowing that there are some people from my school that will be there too - one whom I will meet up with once in the airport at Glasgow.
School doesn't start for 2 weeks so we will have plenty of time to get settled in and do some sight seeing and all that fun stuff before the REAL fun AKA school/classes begins ;) But seriously though, I am actually looking forward to being back in an academic environment and seeing how they run things in comparison to Brock.
I'm all out of ideas about what to go on about and should probably find something to eat. I'll probably be back at this tomorrow once I am there or even in the airport since I have to be there 3 hrs ahead of time...
Cool.
T.
